From the moment water, fire, smoke, or other damage occurs to a home or commercial property, customers have a myriad of concerns swirling around them in which they tend to forget one or another specific details that must be attended to. Vanguard Environmental and Restoration as an Emergency Services division that deals with the details of specific Emergency Services during the most crucial moments after damage has occurred.

Board Up Services
Whether a fire, flood or even a vehicle collision into a property, our Board Up services are available upon a moment’s notice, truly a 24 hour – 7-days a week emergency response, even Holidays. We receive calls from Homeowners, Building Managers, Business Owners, Insurance Companies, and even other contractors requesting our quick and reliable services.
Immediate Board Up Services means that we will board up doors, windows, and every building breach to protect our customers contents that are exposed to possible theft or exposure to the elements. Maintaining that all property is contained and protected until further action can be taken, is our paramount concern.
Tarp Services
Most homeowners and businesses don’t realize their roofs are in dire need of repair until it’s too late, which typically is during heavy rains or melting snow buildup. This is when our Tarp Services are requested. Immediate, 24/7 response means that homes, personal property or even businesses and their inventory, will have no further damages which will reduce more costly repairs.
Tarp Services can be enacted as a preventative measure as well. As the weather can quickly changes and folks may have an exposed roof for various reasons, Vanguard can help alleviate the possibility of extensive damage by our Emergency Tarp Services.
Our Tarp Services have been primarily for roofs protection from the elements of weather, but we’ve been asked to Tarp various damages to structures for a time being. Tarp projects have been partially damaged walls or ceilings, exterior building structures such as partial decks, or walls.
Again our 24 hour/ 7-days a week emergency service for Tarp Services are even available on Holidays.
Water Removal and Damage Mitigation Services
Vanguard Environmental and Restoration has developed an emergency service of Water Removal utilizing state of the art water extraction units which can extract gallons of water within minutes. Removing water from areas affected from water leaks, pipe bursts or floods is extremely important to property and contents. With quick extraction, and complete drying is underway, long-term damage is reduced. Vanguard also employs structure drying machines and systems that can dry carpets and most hardwood floors providing the possibility of saving extremely high replacement costs.
Mitigation encompasses the clearing or removing of all damaged material whether it is water damaged drywall, fire charred ceilings and framing or smoke damaged furniture and even mold infested walls or flooring. The removal of all damaged or affected materials may also include mudslides and the removal of all soaked materials or businesses and storefronts that have automobile damage or vandalism, each situation is unique.
Contents: Manipulation, Cleaning & Storage
Contents are carefully separated into three (3) categories; Damaged, Restorable or Safe to Store.
The determination of whether specific contents are damaged or restorable will be the decision of our on-site supervisor and the customer. The decision of salvageability or not will always be discussed with the customer and the final decision of the customer.
If specific contents that have suffered damage and are determined salvageable, then steps will be taken to save the item. Whether an item has been exposed to Fire, Water, Smoke or Mold a cleaning process will be required. All cleaning is conducted with eco-friendly cleansers with the utmost professional care to refresh all items to their pre-loss condition. Once the necessary cleaning has been completed, all items are then stored.
Whether items require cleaning or not, all items are inventoried and stored in climate controlled secured remote warehouses or mutually agreed upon onsite storage facilities. Most cleaning,
transportation and storage fees are paid for through insurance claims and typically not out of pocket for the customer. Contact your insurance provider for more information.
Once the restoration and rebuilding of your property is complete, a mutually agreed schedule is made to have our staff deliver all contents to your property and placed back to its original location via our inventory specialists.
